quietude

Was one of my favorite words that came up in a slightly giddy, post Blogtropol.us celebration at xyz on Friday night. And after last week's Web 2.0 buzziness, the weekend got me that much closer to inhabiting the meaning of the word. Musical work (I'm really excited-should have a new CD ready by midsummer, check for new songs posted here ), jamming with new musical pals (I now also have a crush on my friend's Gibson electric guitar, sigh), getting back to yoga, hanging with my siblings at Cafe Gratitude, life is feeling good for a Monday!

quietude - a state of peace and quiet quietness, tranquillity, tranquility calmness
