a little thanks

While there have been clear skies over San Francisco this solstice weekend, a friend of mine has been in Iran, ( and thankfully, as of today, Dubai.) As she wrote from Tehran, post getting 'kidnapped by thugs," " ...nobody voted for Ahmadinejad, BTW."
It's hard to reconcile the news with how good life can be, and I'm graced to have been in a sweet spot of friends, music and community.
