Making SF More Beautiful: Mindy O'Leary of Le Burge't

I've been spending much of the summer getting ready for the fall, preparing for the Indie Abundance Tour I've got slated for August 30-Sept. 7 (with stops & workshops before & after). Stylist Mindy O'Leary did the Indie Abundance™ team the honor of styling and make-up our recent photo shoot. Upbeat and excited to make three bleary eyed musicians pretty one Saturday, she brightened our outlooks as well as our looks. We asked her what she loved about her work at Le Burge't Salon and living in San Francisco.
DC How long have you been working as a stylist?

MO 4 years
DC You're new to San Francisco—what do you like about SF style?
MO I love that everyone can have there "own" style. You dont have to look like you just came off the runway from fashion week. You really see some beautiful creative women and men walking around here!
DC Where do you think it could use help?
MO Well, of course as much as I'm loving the style of SF, I can't wait to get my hands in everyone's hair. Not because they look bad, but it would just be fun to shake things up a little bit and add some Mindy love to the hair!
DC What's your favorite line of make-up?
MO TRUE and Mac
DC Do you have a style icon?
MO Dita Von Tease and my students at the SFIEC (The San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology), they really know how to work it and im inspired by all of them.
DC If you're not making people look better, you're.....?
MO Discovering the mission with friends and my fiance, teaching at SFIEC, and checking out the awesome music scene. '
You can find Mindy at Le Burge't , 2737 20th Street, San Francisco, CA 94110
