My tips for the environment?
Get to know yours-what's native in your yard, the sky, etc?
Shop organic and locally. Grow your own food if you can.
Ride your bike/walk or take a bus to work.
Turn your lights off.
Avoid pesticides at all costs, and anything toxic: throw out those nasty cleaning products that make you choke.
Join the Bike Coalition www.sfbike.org
Carry a mug to work.
Avoid plastic.
Recycle....
