turn, turn

In the middle of worrying about fires—at this writing, my friends & family remain unscathed— new things were springing up all over my San Francisco neighborhood. The latest art installation went up in Hayes Green, the Koilos Aeionic sculpture by Michael Christian, a neighbor reported a pregnancy, a new tree finally got planted in the box outside my apartment (the last one was taken out by one of the recycling trucks, I believe, that arrive every day before dawn), I finished the basic tracks of my CD, and started sponsoring a child through Operation Shanti. Life does go on.
