I'll be playing some tunes with my Crooks/Walsh Blues collaborator, Alex Walsh, this evening in Hayes Valley as part of the San Francisco chapter of National Night Out Against Crime. I believe it's the eight incarnation of the Western Addition's participation in the event which seeks to encourage the prevention of crime and drug use by providing a family-friendly night of entertainment as well as "strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships". The National Event is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW)
