My friend (& SX panel mate) Rynda invited me to play at The FAIR Fund Benefit on Thursday so I spent a few days in Los Angeles. The event was held at a lovely home in the Holmby Hills and I enjoyed playing a short set to open the entertainment portion of the show which also featured the fabulous David Ryan Harris, who'd just gotten off the road, and local LA sensation Ruby Friedman and members of her band. Good company & a festive evening to support a sobering cause: FAIR Fund works to prevent human trafficking of youth worldwide and presented some sobering statistics on the trafficking going on here in the states as well as abroad.
