Road Tripping

I've always loved road trips. It's the just on-the-way somewhereness I love and the things you happen upon. I've driven up and down Highway 101 countless times in my life but it never gets old. The California landscape that's in my blood, Steinbeck country, all the old Missions (this one San Miguel), addled conversations. I made it to the California Music Fest with guitarist Kwame Copeland where we had a good time playing and hanging out at Ventura's JS Tapas, the designated venue for the folk/rock/americana set, and getting new material from the trip for the next set of tunes.
